Good afternoon from the desk of Janet Hall. Here are the stories we’re working on for WBRC FOX6 News this evening.

Welcome home, Crimson Tide!

The Crimson Tide football team returns today to a hero’s welcome. We were at the airport when the team landed in Birmingham and from there they will load onto buses and head to Tuscaloosa for an official welcoming. We will be there too to bring you all the action on WBRC.
Where’s the security?

Residents from the burned out Birmingham Trades Tower Apartments have not been allowed to go into the building to retrieve their belongings. Today we talk to a resident who is angry there is no security around the building to keep their belongings safe. That story at 5.
Ban the box?

Birmingham Mayor William Bell is pushing an idea to ban a box on job applications that has to do with criminal history Why does the mayor want to do away with it and how far reaching might such a ban go? We take a look tonight.

Those stories and more beginning at 5 p.m. on WBRC FOX6 News.
