Jimmy Fallon takes 'The Tonight Show' reins Monday

(CNN) - After 42 years on the West coast, The Tonight Show will debut where it began, in New York.

In a nod to the show's 60 year history, ot will air from the same studio Johnny Carson used at Rockefeller Center.

Comedian Jimmy Fallon is taking over the show from Jay Leno, who hosted it for 22 years.

Fallon's guests Monday are Will Smith and the band U2.

Other guests expected this week are: Jerry Seinfeld, Lady Gaga, Kristin Wiig and Michelle Obama.
