Former Judge Bridget McCafferty had a hearing Monday morning to request a new trial; however, a decision won't be made today.
The former Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge was convicted in March on ten counts of corruption-related charges.
The Federal Judge who will decide on whether or not McCafferty will be granted a new trial, has taken the case under advisement and will issue a decision at a later date.
At this time, McCafferty is scheduled to be sentenced later this month.
